According to Islamic prophetic tradition, The holy prophet Muhammad(p) was a descendent from Adnan. Adnan was an ancestor of the Adnani Arabs of northern, central and western Arabia and a direct descendant of Prophet Isma’il, the son of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
